David Kinnaman heads up the Barna Group - a research firm focused on spirituality. He and co-author Gabe Lyons studied young adults ages 16 to 29 and found that 40% of this age group were disaffected from the church. They went on to study this group of disaffected young adults in more depth, and their findings are captured in unChristian. If you are interested in reaching young adults this book is a must read.

We've invited David Kinnaman to speak on the book and the research behind it on Tuesday, September 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. He'll speak for an hour, then answer questions for 30 minutes. Then we'll invite you to sit around a table with other leaders, to discuss how we can more effectively reach out to this group.
