This Sunday Resurrection in partnership with St. James will be worshiping together at Municipal Auditorium downtown. This idea began last year out of an initiative to move beyond our walls and beyond our cultural norms. With our two churches (one predominately white, another predominately black church) coming together in song, word, and prayer. Last year was the first of this worship gathering and over 8,000 drove to starlight theater in the heat and traffic to show their support for this uniting of people under God. Worship is at 10am filed with a 200 voice choir, and powerful preaching.
Buses leave at 9am for any interested. There will be plenty of parking and AIR CONDITIONING!
